December 08, 2011 - Chief Conley Announces Retirement
The Nashua Police Commission announces the retirement of Police Chief Donald F. Conley. Chief Conley will retire on January 1, 2012, following a distinguished 31 year career with the department.
The Nashua Police Commission unanimously selected Deputy Chief of Operations, John J. Seusing, as Chief Conley’s successor. Deputy Chief Seusing has held the position of Deputy Chief for the past four years having served as both the Deputy Chief of Operations and the Deputy Chief of Uniform Operations. He has been a member of the Nashua Police Department since 1982. During his 29 year career, he has held numerous command assignments within the department including the Uniform Field Operations Bureau, Detective Bureau, and Professional Standards Bureau. He is currently a member of the Nashua Exchange Club and recently became a Board of Directors member of the Boys and Girls Club. Deputy Seusing and his wife, Jen, reside in Merrimack NH.
