|NASHUA POLICE DEPARTMENT OPERATION: SAFE RETURN
| A voluntary enrollment program designed to reunite memory-impaired persons with their caregivers.
Operation Safe Return is sponsored and coordinated by the Nashua Police Department to assist in the return of memory-impaired individuals to their home or place of care in a dignified, safe manner.
Memory-impaired persons or persons with Alzheimer’s often have a tendency to wander away from home and get lost or confused. An identification card, as well as a necklace for women and a bracelet for men, are issued with an operation safe return number. If these individuals become lost, they are reunited with their family as quickly and safely as possible.
