NPD & PAL ANNOUNCE INTERNET SAFETY WORKSHOP

 

  The Nashua Police Department, in partnership with the Nashua Police Athletic League, will be hosting an Internet Safety Parents Workshop on April 23rd at 6:30pm at Bicentennial Elementary School.

   This seminar is FREE to all parents, and will feature presentations by a Detective from the Nashua Police Department who specializes in cyber crimes and online child exploitation investigations; as well as a leading IT expert and internet architect of one of the nation's largest on-line universities.

   This workshop aims to educate parents and provide them with tips and solutions to ensure their child is enjoying a safe and positive on-line experience. Following the presentation, both speakers and several police officers will be on hand to answer questions.

   The Internet Safety Parents Workshop is part of the PAL Community Learning Series, which is sponsored by the generosity of the Nashua Police Patrolman's Association, and the Nashua Teachers Union.

AARP SMART DRIVER PROGRAM COURSE ANNOUNCEMENT

 

  The AARP SMART DRIVER Program is the nation’s first and largest refresher course designed specifically for older drivers. It provides the latest research-based information to help you update your driving knowledge and skills.
 

   The class will be held on Monday, April 13 AND Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 09:30am to 12:30pm ON BOTH DAYS at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, 2300 Southwood Drive in Nashua N.H. (just off of Exit 8) in conference room AB. The fee is $15.00 for AARP members and $20.00 for nonmembers payable by check ONLY (made out to AARP). Most insurance companies offer a generous discount for taking this class. Coffee will be provided. To enroll in this program, please call Jane Constant, Senior Relations Specialist with the Nashua Police Department and course instructor at 603-594-3628.

NASHUA POLICE DEPARTMENT ANNOUNCES NEXT EXAM

  

  The Nashua Police Department will be conducting an entry level test for the position of Police Officer on Saturday, April 18, 2015.  The applications deadline for the test will be Monday, April 6, 2015.  For more information please go to the "CAREERS WITH NPD" section of this site.
